Al Sharpton had not made news for 13 hours, and this was cause for serious concern. He climbed into the back seat of his luxury SUV, told his driver to take him four blocks to Times Square and refreshed the news feed on his cellphone. Seriously? Nothing on Ferguson? he said. Nothing about my statement on good policing? His power depended in part on publicity; the civil rights movement depended in part on his power. He ran a comb through his hair and dialed one of his assistants. If we lose this spotlight, then our whole opportunity here, our historic moment its dead, he said.
The car pulled up to a hotel, where a security team greeted Sharpton and hurried him upstairs to a private meeting. The conference room had been arranged to his exact specifications: thermostat cranked high to help loosen his voice, hot tea waiting on the table, Dominican cigars stashed nearby in case there was time for a break. His audience was already seated, and Sharpton took his place at the front of the room. An assistant introduced him as though welcoming a prizefighter.
Ladies and gentlemen, the leader of our movement, the reason we are all here, a champion of justice, the peoples preacher, the Reverend Doctor Al Sharpton!
Sharpton stood as they applauded and took his time removing his coat and scarf.

In the old America I grew up in, this tax cheat would be behind bars doing time just like Leona Helmsley and Paula Dean did for similar crimes.
But now, with the DOJ and the "Just-Us" brothers, he walks free to antagonize our already divided nation.
Unfortunately, bo one in this country has the “INTESTINAL FORTITUDE” to expose this race pimp for what he really is, a “CHARLATAN”. Every one outside the “ELITES” in this country, is scared to death that should they start investigating this “RACE PIMP”, they would be faced by “INVESTIGATION” from the DOJ, headed by Eric Holder, and the rest of these “BLACK LEADERS in Washington.
If people didn’t understand that Zimmerman and Wilson, trayvon and big mike were just pawns in this game they should now
LMAO.
“trayvon and big mike were just pawns “.......
“Never let a good opportunity go to waste” seems appropriate for “Tax Heat” Al and his kind.
Now Amy's out as Sony VP---and she's got a new Sony gig.....but her new gig probably doesnt include a hefty budget line for Al shakedowns.
So....the Brian Williams fiasco looks tailor-made for Sharptons greedy clutches. If Brian goes, Al's primed to jump in.....he's got a low-rated show at MSNBC, hes a convicted liar, he doesnt pay his taxes and he has President Obamas ear.
Hes perfect for the Peacock network (so says Michael Goodwin, NY POST sage).

THE AL MO: he earns" money through calling other people racist.
We cannot be silent while African-Americans spend hard-earned dollars with a company that does not hire, promote or do business with us in a statistically significant manner. - Sharpton's 2003 e-mail to Honda.
Sharpton raised $1 million for NAN at his 60th birthday bash in October, with donations rolling in from unions and a corporate roster of contributors including AT&T, McDonalds, Verizon and Walmart.
Companies have gotten in line to pay Sharpton. Macys and Pfizer forked over thousands to NAN, as have General Motors, American Honda and Chrysler.

I sincerely hope "payments" to Al were properly disclosed to shareholders of publicy-traded companies.
I happened to notice that the writer made a serous, possibly fatal mistake. When he wrote. “ Michael Brown was shot by a police officer in Ferguson, Mo., and when Eric Garner died after being placed in a chokehold” he forgot to use the adjective. “unarmed” before Michael Brown’s or Eric Garner’s” names. A mighty rallying cry.
Doctor? Since when?
Idi Amin gave himself all kinds of crazy titles as well; Sharpton probably got an honorary doctorate from some urban toilet or Ivy League school that wouldn’t otherwise give him the time of day.
The first sentence made me think: “Satire”.
But this moron is serious.
How many words does this article devote to Tawana Brawley or Crown Heights???????
And the comments at the site? Bwahahaha!
“But this moron is serious.”
The Reverend Al is the P.T. Barnum of the race hustle. He will do and say and pay anything to stay relevant.
Ultimately, though, he’s going to lose his base to the kidiot anarchist types.
Sounds like AL does a whole lot of NOTHING everyday
