I’m not surprised the Greeks came up with this word as they are sbarites. To paraphrase the late Margaret Thatcher “the problem with the EU is that sooner or later you run out of German people’s money”

Re: Subaru.
My understanding is that the Japanese word Subaru is their name for the constellation commonly knows as the “Seven Sisters”. Their logo is a clump of stars. Whether or not that has any relation to the word of the day is an interesting thought.
