This is the most brilliant legal defence that I have seen, since 1861-1865, of states rights, as expounded in the 10th Amendment.

Yes, Judge Moore told the Fed to bug off and delineated the legal case behind it. Judge Moore sent this instruction to all of the Alabama judges that handle weddings and adoptions.

Brilliant !!!!! This is what all US state level supreme court judges should do.

Having only previously seen the media caricature of Judge Moore, I wasn’t sure how well I liked him. Now, having read one of his opinions, I find I’ve been missing out. I hope the next Republican president appoints Moore to the Supreme Court!

Wow. Judge Moore is impressive. Every state probate judge ought to read this and then refuse to issue marriage licenses to homosexuals.

The homosexual lobby may have just met their Stalingrad defeat!

“state courts may interpret the United States Constitution independently from and even contrary to the decisions of federal courts.”

Pretty good read, I have been saying this for a long, long time and nobody ever seems to listen, except to poo poo the idea that States are not bound by Inferior Federal Courts. See Article 3, section 2.

In all Cases affecting Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, and those in which a State shall be Party, the supreme Court shall have original Jurisdiction.

Apparently 46 States see it the same way! Inferior Federal Courts have NO JURISDICTION on Constitutional Issues. So why do they act contrary to this Official Stance on these issues?

Did I miss the part where he says, “Follow my lead or turn in your wig”?

President Cruz needs to make Judge Moore his first nomination for the Supreme Court of the U.S.

I like chief justice Moore, and if a conservative was elected POTUS, with a conservative senate, I think it would be grand if he was appointed to the SCOTUS.
