Mom had a Norwegian Forest Cat. She couldn’t climb a tree. The cat, not Mom. Mom can climb trees. She gets loaded on Friday nights and climbs a tree and starts singing old Viking sea songs. Mom, not the cat. The cat couldn’t sing. Could play the ukulele, though. Mom can play the accordion. You should have heard their duets. They did a rendition of DANNY BOY that brought tears to your eyes. Didn’t much care for their STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN. The cat was always a half beat behind. They decided to switch instruments one time. Didn’t work out. The cat always played with her tongue hanging out. She looked down to see where the E key was on the accordion and squished her tongue. They were pretty popular down at the VFW Club. The cat would get three or four bourbons in her and then she wanted to fight. They called her “The Norwegian Knockout”. Yeah.....but she was a dirty fighter. Get you in a clinch and bite your ear. Mom, not the cat. The cat would only fight under Marquis of Queensbury Rules. She was a sucker for a left jab. good stamina, though. That cat could go ten rounds, no problem. She used to train by chasing greyhounds.....buses.

Nala has a strong resemblance to my beloved Maine Coon. Maine Coons are the most sensitive & beautiful cats. Thanks for posting this beautiful baby:)
