I am not saying the guy isn’t guilty but if I was his lawyer I would challenge the verdict by claiming the movie “American Sniper” created an atmosphere that made it impossible to obtain a fair trial.

Facts are facts. The fair retort: what could possibly change the interpretation of the facts? There is no doubt he killed two people for no valid reason. No reason to think the jury could come to any other conclusion than guilty.

TV said last night there were 3 possible verdicts: guilty, not guilty, and not guilty by reason of insanity. Why isn’t there a “guilty by reason of insanity.” He’s nuts, he done it, and we’re still gonna throw the book at him cause we don’t want crazy murderers running loose.
