MEET THE BRAINS BEHIND OBAMA'S PLAN TO REGULATE THE INTERNET

In the Wall Street Journal's stunning expose of how political operatives at the White House overruled the FCC's own experts to pave the way for this week's upcoming vote to regulate the Internet, we learned that the key link between a small group of liberal tech executives and President Obama was David Karp, the president of Tumblr. Specifically, the Journal reported:

Hipster David Krap from the liberal cesspool of the east coast New York city that regularly elects communists into office and held more fundraisers for hands down the worst President in US history communist Obama than any other city attempts to push the latest Obama scam on the public but fails.

Of note: Check out Obama's "National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace (NSTIC)".

Imam Obama, more than any other President, knows the importance of “Controlling the Message” through any and all means possible.

This is the government’s dream: getting to sell licenses to have an online web site, getting to control who gets those licenses for the “public good” which reinstates the “Fairness Doctrine” that allowed Democrats to run radio for 40 years, and getting to tax all users, just as your phone bill is larded with local, state and federal taxes so internet use will be more expensive.

Whoever votes for this monstrosity should be voted out of office. And yes, Rush stated yesterday, the FCC can’t decree these changes that regulate the internet as a “utility.” It does take a vote of Congress. Your Congress critter better know what is in the bill before voting for it, so you better contact them NOW.

I know this is a silly question as I already know the answer, but what is it about the Democrats, who shout “CHOICE” from the rooftops, but deeply desire to regulate every aspect of the people’s lives? I really believe that they do not know the meaning of the word ‘choice’.

At least, those who vote for them do not...

While I agree with you that the hypocrisy of the Democrats is oh so true on Choice and Regulation as you point out.

They are by far not the only ones. I have to say I was just in a meeting (Tea Party) with a libertarian present and his focus was on regulation GMO’s. I pointed out that this was contrary to the stance of less regulations and he said he wanted the info regulated and required so everyone would know about it, I then could not get him to recognize the fact that He knew and others have the same access to the info which help him learn the evils he believes in on GMO’s and that he was free to steer away from those foods and deal directly with the company’s himself and with those he convince of their evils. but this was to no avail. My point is not GMO’s but rather the hypocrisy we to on the Conservative and Libertarian side fall into.

I fully expect the GOP to drop the ball on this FCC power grab just like they did on amnesty. Boehner and Mc Connell should start importing white surrender flags from France and we should be getting batteries for our old short wave radios so we can get uncensored news from beyond the Obama curtain. I hope Rush and other conservative broadcasters have plans to move their broadcasts to Canada

Sounds more like someone who is cutting an inside deal with the Regime to elevate his business model/stature - while hoping that the alligator eats him last.
