If it's not an "aspiring rapper" (usually attributed to unsuccessful rappers who get in trouble with the law), then it's a "rap mogul" (usually attributed to successful rappers who get in trouble with the law).
Nobody has ever called Mick Jagger a "rock mogul."
Nobody has ever referred to Madonna as a "pop mogul."
Nobody has ever tagged Kenny Chesney as a "country mogul."
So why is it that we are always hearing about rap moguls?
Suge was not a rapper, but a music producer and record company owner. Those companies at one time really did make some money.
