A few years back, we had a major forest fire. The newschick said something to the effect of: The firefighters are really going to benefit from the extra hour of daylight...

Did the extra hour help? or did the extra hour add to the heat of the fire and cause massive global warming??

We’re all given the same amount of time daily. It really depends on what you do with it that matters. I always do the things that need to be done and those that are important to me.

Of course, if the forest fire started after sunrise but was expected to be contained by sundown...ha!

I do get one benefit in my evening commute as people don’t slow as much when it is still light (my morning commute is before the rush, but my evening commute is not)

Well, I best go start changing the umpteen million clocks in and around house now. I actually made a list out once and it helps a lot...it’s like every other thing seems to have a clock in it...even things like the clock inside answering machine and thermostats, things easy to miss. Some things change automatically.
At least I do get my clocks set accurate at same time.
