President Obama twice failed to honor his predecessor's signatures on free-trade deals, doing exactly what a letter from 47 Republican senators suggested the next president might do with an Iran nuclear deal not approved by Congress — refuse to honor it and demand modifications.

A person -- whatever their political persuasion -- would have be a fool -- a naive fool -- to believe anything obama says. They take a huge risk whenever they do so whether out of respect, wishful thinking that perhaps, maybe, this one time he is being honest, or, as is the case with far too many Republicans, abject fear.
