If Sam didn't think it wasn't going to be a big deal, he wouldn't have had that publicity stunt that 7th round draft picks don't get. He knew the homo obsessed media, BSPN and Rich Eisen would be all over his arse. More publicity, more endorsements.
He fails as a pro like most college athletes and will probably be some homo celebrity somewhere cashing in on that.
