On the steps of the capital, I was afraid of losing sight of my senator, who was about to be swallowed up by foggybottom, but the other two, my representatives, heading in the opposite direction, were also on the verge of vanishing into the brume. Well this could be fun. A word taken from the Word for the Day at Dictionary.com might be a hit for us.
Quills at the ready, poets. And as for the rest of you wits, have at it and don’t get lost in the brume.

We are mired in the Barack Brume
A great country trapped in socialist gloom
This evil little man
Has bent down to Iran
Hope the brume and the gloom don’t spell doom

Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon in front of them
Volley’d and thunder’d;
Storm’d at with shot and shell,
Boldly they rode and well,
Into the jaws of Death
(through the brume of cannon smoke),
Into the mouth of Hell
Rode the six hundred.

Now in the winter of our discontent,
With no one else in the room,
To her left, she’s bereft,
Hillary! shows up with the brume.

Out of a drug filled brume
Came the half man of our doom
Speaking of Hope and Change
That hid a bad case of mange
He’s spread nothing but gloom.
