Hey there! Yeah, I’m late today. I went to an emergency preparedness event put on by the town. It was disappointing. All the local agencies were there, and emergency food vendors, but only one really practical display.

Well, as we have learned, we WILL be on our own when disaster strikes - so plan accordingly! :)
I saved Joe for this morning - I had a HUGE sales day at work yesterday, so was pretty much passed out in bed by 9pm. Up now with coffee in hand, a bowl of oatmeal - and Joe, LOL!
I’m thinking seriously about buying one of those camping cooking sets just so I can play with it. Maybe I’ll make an apple box oven, too.
I have the basics for a disaster; we’ve always been prepared for a blizzard or a tornado ‘round here.
Still have to pull together my bucket toilet though, LOL!
And here is an article in the Daily Mail that is an excellent example of Joe Bastardi’s statement that the California drought newspaper folks who write about the weather don’t know what they are talking about.
