Oh, please don't start. Now it will be 'evil tobacco', guns, evil tobacco, ammo, killer cigarettes, tobacco...'.
Sounds like a Bay Area newsman's dream tragedy.
Was there an SUV in his garage?
Idiot reporters. Mythbusters tried various versions of firing ammo without guns. In most cases, the shell, being lighter, is what went flying. The bullet itself didn’t travel very far. Ammo in a fire just is not very dangerous. Certainly will not kill.....
“Sounds like a fell asleep while smoking in bed to me.Oh, please don’t start. Now it will be ‘evil tobacco’, guns, evil tobacco, ammo, killer cigarettes, tobacco...”
Like they always say, “Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms” should be the name of a convenience store.
I knew someone would post that, good deal.
Does that mean it won't go off if engulfed in flames?
I knew people who were at this restaurant when the idiot threw the rounds in the fire pit (I have it in my head they were .22 rimfires, if that makes a difference).
At any rate my friends sure thought the Rounds Went Off
(I did notice the reporterette says "a bullet casing" shattered the window, which I suppose is possible but...)
Not trying to be wise guy. I’ve wondered about these kinds of reports myself. Thanks.
In my accidental experience, a .45 acp exploded in a trash fire and traveled 10 to 12 feet. Not a big deal at all.
