No. From the mayor’s words & deeds, they recognize there is now a power vacuum in Baltimore, and are moving to fill it. They won’t be stopped short of her being replaced by a “hang ‘em high” mayor.

Kind of like that silly woman (Jean Quan) who served one term as mayor of Oakland, California.

I believe that the mayor was elected by majority vote. That says that she is the people’s choice. Let them enjoy her. If I was White and owned a business in Baltimore, the sun would have risen on it being loaded onto trucks and my ass getting the hell out of there. if I was White, by sunup, my ass would be gone, because what she implied is that should any White make any effort to defend themselves when attacked, the full power of the law will descend upon them. As Jesus said in the Holy Bible, “He that hath an ear let him hear....”
