I like this one a lot. It's a good film, and features one of Kirk Douglas' more memorable performances. 7.5/10

five minutes left. Kirk turned into a real pos. My guess is he dies in the final fight. Be back in ten :)

eh, I knew he was going to die. Very 40’s ending.
Surprised that he won last fight though.
The slow motion boxing scene, though brief, was cutting edge for its time.
He looked like the Phantom of the Opera without the mask in last fight. A little dramatic but that's ok.
Wont be watching tomorrow's fight. Nephew's and niece's birthdays in a few weeks and 2 tickets to Phantom of the Opera for him and gf and one year of QuickBooks to further the career of niece. So I'm tapped lol. 100 is too much.
Also after boxing from 18 to 23, now 46. I've lost a little of my appetite for the game. The Klitchkos dominating made it boring for me too.

I think this is the movie referred to in Douglas’ autobiography. The producers thought Kirk was too skinny to be taken seriously as a boxer, so he removed his shirt. He had been a college wrestler and wasn’t really thin. He was chiseled.
