Kinda silly to expect a dog to not attack when the perp puts his hands up.

Although it does sound like the dog wasn’t properly controlled.

The fanged weapon continued to attack the guy while the other jack booted thugs were attempting to cuff him.

They zero control over that dog and callously disregarded the mans injuries, which should have never happened.

Have you ever seen a police dog that was in any way controllable?

I’ve seen them severely bite the hands and arms of their handlers too many times. They’re trained to attack, and once they are on their quarry often do not listen for any other command.

‘I did nothing but try to make it easy for them. I thought I would not be a threat sitting down,’ Hoogveldt told the Salt Lake Tribune.

He also claims he remained in the sofa as he would have needed to take his hands down in order to push himself out of the sofa.
