A pal in Iowa owned two of these; both rebuilt at an Army arsenal. Neither one could be said to be accurate except out to 25 feet, maybe. Your RR is a jewel.
Let me modify my post. I consider most handguns short range propositions. Handguns being what you use to fight your way to a good rifle. I have a couple of tack drivers all revolvers. I can group my .44 magnum Redhawk real tight at 50 yards. As tight as two inches at 50 yards off sandbags. And I have hunted and taken deer size game at 50+ yard with that .44 mag.
I used to shoot cowboy action matches. I would use the 1911 for special wild bunch matches. And is was up there with my Ruger vaquero single action revolver for that type of shooting. Nice groups at 7/10 yards but not super tight. Everything being relative.
