SIOUX CITY | Repeating his successes in the business field again and again, Donald Trump in a Sioux City stop Saturday said those skills will be helpful if he runs for -- and wins -- the presidency in 2016.
Trump said if he pursues the presidency, it will mean he's chosen to forgo his business pursuits, and he'll "give up hundreds of millions in deals."
"If I run, I'll be the best jobs president," he said to a crowd of 200 people at Morningside College.
"I'll take care of our vets and I'll take care of our military."

I don't know whether Trump is readying to actually run this time.
I do know I like what he is saying.
I used to like what Trump was saying. Then he spoke against Geller in that Muhammad cartoon controversy. If Trump can't support free speech, then I can't support Trump.
Here is what he said:
Just for reference for anyone reading. I sort of agree with you that Donald could/should have spoken more forcefully.
Though I believe there was an aspect of what he said, which I can also understand.
Please make up your own minds.
I support him for his position on American jobs.
He doesn’t appear to have any competition in that, and for me it is more important.
Thank you for your post.
One, we need to bring back middle class jobs back to the US. And two, Trump is the only person talking about that. No one else in either party is even briefly mentioning it, which I find quite puzzling.
At any rate, I sure wish Trump had been more pro-Geller. For me, that's a litmus test. (End of semi-rant, I promise.)
That worked so well for Romney.
In that case, does he plan to have Fiorina as his running mate?
He’s not even running at the moment, since we’re already in fantasyland, maybe he could run with Palin as his running mate.
(just saying...)
We’ll know more about both of them, next month I think.
I just figure since he says business experience is so valuable, he’d want to have a ticket with TWO business executives instead of just one.
Assuming he were to run, of course — and actually get nominated.
Boy, could a ticket like that self-fund!
His comb-over will betray him again.
The guts to stand up for the Bill of Rights is helpful too.
Stuff it, Trump!
He won't and why people still think he will is beyond me. It's just more self-promotion. When he can manage that muskrat living on his head, I'll consider the possibility he could effectively run the counrty.
James Traficant actually had a small, furry creature living on his noggin. I believe it was a blond rodent of some kind, possibly a cavy. It was alive at one time.
Cruz-Trump?
No Donald. I’m not taking the bait this time. Keep talking though, some will fall for it yet again. This time, even if he was serious, I would not want Donald Trump. He’s as petty as Obama about anyone who criticizes him, and he’s almost as vain as de Blasio.
If Trump hadn't been given tons of money by his daddy he'd probably be a shift supervisor at fast food.
How much did he donate to the Clinton foundation again?
as of right now I’d vote for Cruz, Walker or Trump..
