I'd go ahead and plant the tomatoes in your garden, greeneyes. I can't imagine snow this late in May in the Show Me.
Our tomatoes are overwhelmed with green fruit and with a dose of sunshine, will be ready to eat by June 1.
Ditto our peppers. Jalapenos, Berthas, poblanos, etc all have small fruit. I'm ready to starting picking !

I can’t imagine it either. LOL

But I’m waiting - natural procrastination is a mile wide and 10 miles deep in our family. Besides, I just don’t like to garden when there’s no sun and cool enough to need a jacket.

My usual time for most summer stuff is June 1, so I still have a week to procrastinate. Rain, snow, wind, all good excuses to do something else. LOL

Ah yes, my garden 150 miles south is in much better shape and far more advanced with tiny tomatoes set on. The Ozarks are my getaway and living on the Gasconade is a slice of heaven.
