Maybe the Founding Fathers believed the story that Julius Caesar got his name because he was born by Caesarian section, so they wanted to guard against a President becoming a dictator by insisted that only persons born naturally could be elected.

More likely they didn't want a foreigner to be able to come here and become President. They were wise--just look at all the harm Obama has done.

So far none of our Presidents have been naturalized U.S. citizens.

Uh to be fair, 8 of the first 9 presidents technically were naturalized citizens as opposed to natural born citizens because the United States didn’t exist when they were born.
