I’m right there with you on 80 and say it often. Right now there is one guy running that can hit 80 without tying ones self in knots that would make a pre-gay boy scout wince at the complexity. Cruz. If you tie a pretty bow, you could add Walker in a pinch. but you have to go full on Gordian to put ANY of the rest at 80. On a good day. With a tailwind. And Angels driving T9 Cats towing them.

Mrs. Romney: You're idea of 80% would probably grade out at 6% on any objective scale. I did not vote for Romney and a firing squad aimed at my head would not change my mind. You are a newbie (5/20/95) and if you are going to stay around here, you will probably need a serious attitude adjustment.

There are NON-NEGOTIABLE issues: babies, guns, military strength, total overhaul of the Injustice Department, nominations of federal and SCOTUS judges, etc. 80% is just not good enough. If Ronaldus Maximus were with us and able to express an opinion, he would say likewise. I was one of his state chairmen when he challenged Feckless Ford in 1976 and I would bet you never were. You are taking a quote out of context and it is a quote that did not guide his decisions during his time in public life.

Cruz is the only guy running over 80% by any measure not paid for by the RNC or Saudi Arabia.
