Happy fathers day to the Jacksons.

Sad truth is if his name was on the ticket in Chicago he would probably win again next year.

Re: Jackson, 50, pleaded guilty in 2013 to misusing about $750,000 in campaign funds to pay for his familys lavish lifestyle. According to court documents, the Jacksons made dozens of personal purchases using campaign funds, including: memorabilia autographed by Michael Jackson, Eddie Van Halen, and Bruce Lee; fur coats and capes; two stuffed and mounted elk heads; a $43,500 Rolex; vacations to Disney World and Marthas Vineyard; various electronics; gym memberships; their childrens private school tuition; and more.
Even with all that he did I am still shocked that he didn't get away with it. Don't most members in congress end up as multimillionaires? And with being the son of Jesse Jackson, that alone should have given him immunity in Chicago. So what happened? Did he get an obviously “biased” white jury and judge to wrongfully convict him? Or did he get some of the Democrat leadership really mad at him?
