Didn’t the Confederate soldiers fight under their own state flags?
Are they going to demand that every former confederate state change their flag to the Rainbow flag?
In time, yes they are going to do exactly that. Re call the homosexuals, "We only want to be__________? They will never stop until they are stopped.
On a prior occasion Texans have flown the “Come and Take It” flag to symbolize our disregard for the Mexican government’s request to surrender our cannon.
Just as appropriate, the “Lonestar” flag symbolizes our desire to be left alone to live our lives in freedom and the pursuit of happiness our way, not some big govenment’s way.
Texas is a nation within a nation. So if your thinking about taking down our flag, “Don’t Mess with Texas”.
The Lone Star Flag WAS the Confederate Battle Flag for Texans.

After the sodomite marriage ruling now would be he perfect time for Texas to secede.
The Texas flag is allowed to fly singularly on a flag pole because of the treaty the Republic of Texas signed with the US to join the union. It takes a two thirds vote of the Senate to abrogate that treaty.
