Well, the modern philosophy of “lean production” is to not make the customer pay for extra things or extra quality that the customer would not be able to perceive as a value. Given that these days probably 40% of Americans probably believe that Moses and Billy The Kid helped Washington win World War I’s Battle of Big Horn, why should they hire extra people and work harder for the best and most accurate reporting? It would be a disservice to the shareholders and customers alike.
