Anyone Else Having Trouble Donating to Ted Cruz Using Link From E-Mail
Me

Posted on 06/29/2015 5:25:53 PM PDT by Pajamajan

Tried to donate to Cruz campaign through an e-mail link they sent me for the fundraiser Million Dollar Money Bomb at their site.

The link in e-mail takes you to the site and everything went OK until I got to the section where you put zip code in-there was no way to enter it into the form so I couldn't donate because can't complete the form.

I did call them -left message, just wondering if anyone else have this problem.

I went to tedcruz.org and the donation went fine. I watched the Katie Curic interview and it was a hit piece on Curz but he did a very good job of getting his info across despite what Katie was saying. Too bad they don't accept PayPal. That is much easier than a credit card.

General security advice is to never click on a link in an email. It is too easy to be tricked with a spoofed message. Don’t know about your specific situation, but you might try going directly to his website by entering the address in your browser and proceeding from there.

I logged on earlier today with no trouble, but I used the web site information in a Cruz mailer I received a few days ago.

Ditto!! Never click on links in an email! If you want to donate always go to the official site of the personal you are donating to.

When you mouse over the email link, does it show an .ru or .cn?

Sometimes what browser you’re using makes a difference, too — some websites choke on anything other than IE.

So very true. I know I have gotten more than one phishing email from someone claiming to be PayPal.

Good Lord!!

Never do ANYTHING through an email link. Look them up and enter their website through your browser. Click an email link and you're asking for trouble.
