I hope it works out to your satisfaction. We have Roku that picks up all kinds of stuff, and a DVD player/receiver/beeber that (unfortunately) allows the kids to watch Youtube at will.
I liked the old Netflix when you could make your list of streaming shows, and that was all that could be accessed without going on a PC.
Free HDTV Antenna + Amazon Prime + Netflix = :-)
truly love the cuts ... never was ‘haunted’ ... but they are!
Get rid of that crap...you’re supporting liberals with every dollar spent. Be happy with you and yours. Netflix if necessary. I’m a hermit, though, be well.
Dropped Dish in 2005.
Lots of people are ditching it all in favor of XBMC, everything from latest movies/programs to every sports match imaginable - all free.
What about the internet itself? If I may ask. How is that provided?
Love my Roku. Amazon, Netflix and YouTube.
Yep...and now XBMC/KODI is in the google play store as well. I have it on multiple platforms. Android boxes and even my android phone. It’s great.
doing ‘checks’ ... not certain I care when the truth is those that claim to care do not ‘cair’ .. becomes complicated to bordering on constipation.
“nearly $900 “
Gulp...
I tried the converter box when they went all digital but reception here in the sticks is terrible. Fortunately I was only out $29.95.
I gave up on the boob-toob and just watched whatever was interesting on the ‘net. I’ve never looked back.
Please, no more Polish chicks.
I have a Roku device but i only use it to watch Netflix through it. What else is there that does not cost money?
A few have mentioned Amazon- is it all pay-per-view stuff?
Somebody should drop a bomb on Lenny Dunham. Nuke it from orbit, it’s the only way to be sure.
quicksand is in the ‘checking’ ... Out for less in cutting those ‘stings that bind’ ... Internet could be another line ‘off into the wild blue’ though ... Still searching ...
BUMP! Eager to scour this thread for enlightening information. We still pay a fortune for useless cable.
Lots of free movie channels on Roku. Film Noir, old classics, some newer stuff, but the best movies are, unfortunately, on Amazon. I do a good bit of shopping on Amazon so I signed up for Prime. $99/year. Free two day shipping on most things and tons of shows/videos/movies included.
