"On the 5th of the month he is supposed to have his EBT deposit," said Moline.
But earlier this week those calls turned into trying to figure out why the money he depends on for food wasn't there. When he couldn't get answers from the processing center or the Department of Health Services, he contacted Hawaii News Now.
"The reason I called was not just for me or my friend. It was how many people like us are going through this same situation that don't speak up. That give up," said Moline.

WOW! 150 people are delayed in getting their Food Stamps renewal. Obama should get on his jumbo jet, spend $25 million to personally go out there and straighten things out. He can get some shave ice while he's out there, and perhaps get in a few rounds of golf.
Imagine someday the people don’t get their cards filled on time and when they ask about it they are told “there is something you must do for us in order to get your payment”...

One would think, with the near total lack of security for most government systems with sensitive information, some foreign group would have the EBT system figured out by now.

Drug dealers love those government subsidies.

He could’ve bought some beans, rice, twinkies and spam while the EBT card was filled with cash. Then he’d be enjoying a good meal tonight. Spam and twinkies are like C-rations and have no discernible shelf life.
