They can keep him out of the debates. But they have to give him equal time. That’s the law. He may have to pay for it but they have to sell it to him at the lowest rate on the card.

There’s like 17 candidates. I’ll bet half will join Trump in a debate.

That’ll mean people can choose to watch the debate with Rubio and Jeb or they can watch the debate with Trump. Gee, I wonder which debate will get more viewers.

Bad decision to leave out the Don. Alienating Trump from the debate would be a PR problem for each candidate on the stage. The DNC would have a field day. How are you going to talk about the leader of the pack when the leader isn’t there? And if you don’t mention or allude to Trump, it would be perceived as failing to acknowledge the elephant in the room.
