Maybe I’m.missing something. If there’s no court case or legal actions how can she demand to do a deposition?

The California Supreme Court on Wednesday denied a petition by Cosby’s legal team to review earlier rulings in Huth’s lawsuit. That clears the way for a deposition of Cosby to proceed. It had been scheduled for June 26 but was put on hold.
It is a civil action, not criminal.
Since the allegations say the victim was underage at the time,
there is no statute of limitations.
There’s been a defamation lawsuit filed against him by one of the alleged victims I believe.
There are 4 court cases pending against him. This deposition is for sexual abuse of a minor (civil case). Cosby already tried to get the CA Supreme Court to throw the case out and they refused so it is going forward.
