Georgetown University is the one that agreed to hide the crosses at the demand of Obama.
George Washington University is the secular school mentioned in the article.

The dumbing-down of America: lower standards in “fairness” to the mediocre and inferior.

School officials say testing will still be required for home-schooled applicants, students from high schools that provide only narrative evaluation of students, college athletes and those applying for a seven-year program that leads to a combined bachelors/medical degree.
Isn’t that discrimination?

The story was covered via interview with one of the admission officials on WMAL's "Drive at Five" show yesterday. As a holder of several college degrees, I really wanted to ask the politically correct woman from the school how she thought those students would be able to pass the courses they would be taking if they (the students) weren't good at taking tests. Every academic class I have taken (at all levels of education), every vo-tech class I have taken, every rank I held in the Boy Scouts had
some sort of test associated with achieving the goal.
OTOH, George Washington University is a for-profit organization. So, the cynical side of me days that maybe they are doing this as a way of simultaneously pulling in a semester or two of tuition and fees from the most gullible segment the population while still getting PC brownie points for admitting a more "diverse" student body. Now that I think of it that way, I almost have to applaud their policy change.

“Otherwise strong”? Perhaps it means the student can lift heavy objects.

The only important doc for admission to GW is the student’s parents’ financials!
