The organic craze is just another way of parting people from their money. At our local HEB, a 16 oz carton of organic strawberries grown in Watsonville, CA is over $3. Just feet from it, they sell normal strawberries in 16 oz cartons for 79cents grown in the same place, Watsonville, California.

Maybe the whole organic craze is just another way for the elite to distance themselves from the riffraff. Only rich liberals can afford to buy all organic products. It sets them apart and gives them status. Also, they won’t have to worry about having to shop with the peons at Walmart who are just hoping to find ground beef at a price they can afford.
