Build the fence. Have manned towers every couple of miles. Have support for those manned towers every 8 miles. Have military bases every 50 miles, or so.

With 600 million people south of our porous non-existent southern border and untold millions outside the Americas who might also avail themselves of this easy access, there can be only one immigration policy - Stop giving prizes for illegal entry.

Any measure that permits those who entered illegally to benefit from that illegal act is amnesty.

This must be stopped.

I think if we just keep repeating the solutions, and we mostly know the solutions, it will finally get done.

And E-Verify also ought to be used to check eligibility for taxpayer-funded education at all levels.

Of course those steps would work. Build the fence and enforce the law. But I know the courts have ruled that the children of illegals cannot be denied admission to public schools. And there might be some court rulings where illegals can't be denied some government welfare program benefits.

The courts have stuck their noses into this issue and extended various "rights" to illegals.
