Giovenco was on his lunch break July 24 when he received a call that a patient from Alden Village, a Bloomingdale health facility for children and adults with special needs, was missing.
Officer Giovenco and his partner decided to cut their break short and help with the search, he said. They soon spotted a woman they thought could be the missing person.
So they walked back to Alden Village, hand in hand, where she introduced Officer Giovenco to the staff as her friend.

We have too many cops convinced by their chain of command and Homeland Security that they are warriors instead of peace officers. The outcome of such mindset is not good for either citizens or those who are entrusted with protecting and defending. This officer did his job as it should be done.
True, that is what makes it so very Special!!!
A little of that “Do unto others....” that we need to hear more about in the news.
