The only two I’ve read were 1984 and Dune-and the Dune sequels totally sucked-I couldn’t get past the first few chapters.
a scary dystopian novel, I like Ira Levin’s This Perfect Day-I’ve read that about once a year since it came out-and I’m a big Heinlein fan, too.
Love “This Perfect Day”
Amen to Heinlein
I read This Perfect Day years ago and the verse Christ Marx Wood and Wei Led us to this perfect day still sticks with me.
On The Beach.
It is a real downer. I have to get in a certain mood to read it. But I do because it is so ‘final’.
Very high on my list. I've read it several times.
Books are like guns. If you know how many you have, you don't have enough. I don't know if I have a copy of "This Perfect Day" or not.
Another book I recall enjoying was "Dark December", at least in part because it took place near where I was living. I don't remember much about it now.
