It pisses me off when "youthful offenders" pictures aren't published. If they're assaulting people, throwing chunks of concrete at folks, society has a right to know who these savages are. BTW, here a link to the staff of Urban Ventures.

Leadership Team

Primarily white folks with a token Latina and token black man. I'm guessing the white folks know how to set up these scam operations.

Well knock me down with a feather and throw chunks of concrete at me. Look at the pic of the 18 year old that was arrested.

Official: Players left chaperone before Wichita assaults

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn-- An official with a Minneapolis organization says a group of young basketball players skipped out on a chaperone before police say they were involved in several assaults in Wichita.

The Star Tribune reports the male players ranging from age 12 to 18 were in Wichita over the weekend for the Mid America Youth Basketball championships. The players are from Urban Stars Athletics, which is an arm of Minneapolis nonprofit Urban Ventures, and were staying in a downtown hotel.

Nonprofit CEO Timothy Clark said in an emailed statement that the players "skipped out" on a chaperone doing laundry after a team dinner. Wichita Police Lt. James Espinoza says the players threw rocks, bricks and chunks of cement at people as they walked Wichita streets Sunday night.

The players were arrested, and have been released to their parents.

Police records show the 18-year-old, Lucas Jarvi, was arrested for battery, aggravated assault and destruction of property.

Sedgwick County District Attorney Marc Bennett says his office has asked law enforcement to provide additional information, and any possible charges will be announced then.
