Why pay $60, $70 or more for cable tv that has the same channels and for network tv have lower screen resolution due to compression. The only difference is you end up using 2 remotes and change channels a bit differently. One more thing is to get Netflix and or Amazon Prime. Both are cheap at about $8/month.
