Almost anything will work for 25 miles.

I have an ancient outside antenna maybe 25 feet high. It still seems to pull in the HD signal about as well as it did the old 1950s era broadcasts.

I have purchase a couple of indoor HD antennas and neither one works even close to as well as the old outdoor one.

I get signals from Panama City and Dothan, Alabama, clear as can be.

Do the converter boxes work? I didn’t get one...maybe I should have... I do have a digital antenna though. It doesn’t work with the old hardware.

Yes I agree. I have the old outdoor rooftop antenna that we grew up with in the 70’s and early 80’s. Broadcast hasn't changed, antenna works great. Many broadcast in 1080i much better than cable or satellite.
