I thought losing their weapon was one of the worst things that could happen to an officer, but: Berkeley's police Chief Margo Bennett had her gun, badge, department-issued laptop and other items stolen as she jogged.
Will this cost her her job?

as she jogged at Point Isabel in Richmond last Friday morning. Had to be some kinda dumbazz cop. I know a few cops and they always put everything in the trunk of their vehicles when they are parked out of sight of their cars. No excuse here.

The theft comes days after University of California, Berkeley's police Chief Margo Bennett had her gun, badge, department-issued laptop and other items stolen as she jogged at Point Isabel in Richmond last Friday morning. Send this to Mad Magazine, maybe they'll do a spoof story on it.
