So,
Hillary Rodman’s push to deny Richard Nixon’s basic Constitutional rights wasn’t a radical view among those liberal activists working on the Watergate prosecutorial staff but actually a mainstream view?
Kind of clears up a lot of the muddy water from that era.
Do I dare to contend that Richard Millhouse Nixon was a double American patriot? First in 1960 when it he didn’t object to a stolen Presidential election (like Bush did in 2000). And then again in 1974 when he resigned instead fighting the Impeachment effort and exposing the machinations of the Democratic party.
However, when their own are caught in a web of similar or more serious behaviors...well, that's "different."
I immediately made the link to Hillary being fired for unethical and corrupt behavior as well.
Nixon wasn’t going to be given the chance to expose anything.
Remember that the reason he resigned is that Barry Goldwater, Howard Baker and another GOP Senator (can’t remember who) went to the White House and told Nixon that the fix was in, and they were going to vote for removal if it got that far.
