Thackney’s post may be the best solution.

I have been running chrome on my win10 and have had no problems at all. How much memory do you have installed?

Downloading and running anything from Google should begin with http://www.ggogle.com—or at least have google.com in the root of the url.

An IMPORTANT way to avoid malware is only download and run software from a url that has as its root the name of the provider of the software you intend to run.
