Anecdotally, a girl who was pulled this year for cyber got a text from one of her (freshman high school) friends saying no one was in her study clas .... my neighbor's daughter texted back, "You mean you don't KNOW anyone there?"
Was answered ... "NO ... NO ONE is in this class"
In case you don't know it, the public school system has some pretty good locks on giving out offical data ... I don't know how LEGAL it is, but they can refuse you untill the next board meeting .... only to be told you don't have a right to THAT kind of information ...
All BS imo, but it is what it is.
I am using k12 which is “ Aligned” with common core but when we run across any nonsense in his history and social studies courses, or Global warming” in his science cities, I teach my son to see through the nonsense by reading
I have to pay tuition but K12 and connections academy are 2 that are ‘ free” in some states as an alternative to classroom
Even the parochial schools are infested with islamophiles and global warmists
There us no substitute for adults getting involved in what is taught and how it is taught
Especially adults that have real world experience with the issues
