I remember when my family got our first TV (early 50’s) and my earliest TV memories were of Our Gang. Sad.

No, not Darla. She died in 1979 at age 47.

Dittos to that. Route 66 was ‘Do not miss TV’. A very well written, acted and directed TV series.

“I never knew her name.....”

Same here. I remember watching reruns of Our Gang and Little Rascals in the late 70’s to early 80’s.

I wonder when “Spanky” and “Mrs. Crabtree” passed.

Sometime in the 80’s? I was watching Saturday Night Live and on their “News” program they did a B-day announcement. The posted a pic of a 60 year old man and said “so and so (I can’t remember his real name) turned 60 today” Everyone looked at the picture and was blank. The person doing the “News” then said “For those of you who don’t know who so and so is) Then they flashed a picture of Spanky from “Our Gang” and the studio audience roared!
