Why are they targeting only 1 industry...if they really cared about “the people in the shadows”.
Really, it seems like a lawsuit to me. Why is fast food being singled out? Why not give hotel maids 15 an hour? Secretaries? Janitors? Street Sweepers? Elevator operators?
Exactly. My post was more rhetorical.
The target, for whatever reason, is McDonalds.
But the joke will be on these leftwing communists. McDonalds has the resources to install kiosks to order & pay...and eventually computerized equipment to cook & assemble the food order.
What about the people who actually made most of that food in an off-site factory, packaged it, froze it and shipped it so it can be reheated by someone who can barely boil water?
