If you want to know what life in the USA would be like if the democrats had complete control, look at the places where they are in complete control: public schools, colleges, San Francisco, Oakland, New York City.

Funny.
I noticed how closely schools in Florida resembled jails back in the 1970s.

I saw the WalMart HQ in Bentonville AR last year and remarked to my wife that it looked like a penitentiary. Definitely low budget architecture there.

Public schools specialize in child abuse. It is only by God’s grace that we do not have many more school shootings by children who can only cope with the cruelty by taking mind-altering drugs.

My uncle did the pilgrimage to Bentonville as “mandatory” for new sellers to ply their wares to WM. He first went their in 2006 and returned in last year. He remarked that it was the same paintjob and nothing changed. The Waltons for billionaires, ironically are cheapskates.

Today, people sending their kids to public schools/colleges are guilty of child abuse. Buy a used car. Get a smaller house. People did that until greed made them send their kids to indoctrination centers so they could have nicer toys.

I can see the thinking though.
When you go in there to sell to them, you are definitely going to realize there’s not a lot of dough spent on overhead.
I know my local store in Indiana has the thermostats controlled from Bentonville.

At local schools here, children are not allowed to talk to each other in the halls, in line, or at lunch. Silence is to be maintained.
By grade, they are told which hallways they can and can not enter (at any time) to reach their lockers. Lockers may not contain personal items.
These children are not being allowed to learn how to interact and socialize - only how to follow orders.

My 2 kids are in private schools, so not only do I have to pay for theirs, I have to chip in for the public school kids that live on either side of me.

I don't necessarily disagree with the substance of the article, in fact, I agree, but this sentence jumped out at me:
"From the moment a child enters one of the nations 98,000 public schools to the moment she graduates, she will be exposed to a steady diet of draconian zero tolerance policies that criminalize childish behavior,..."
Standard rules of English grammar say that when referring to an unknown or hypothetical person, one refers to that person as "he". Using "she" is usually a left-wing nutbag tell, especially when the author is a man. In addition, anybody with half a brain knows that these over-the-top Orwellian policies are aimed almost exclusively at boys. Now, perhaps the tendrils of feminism have reached even supposedly conservative people, but either way, this silliness needs to stop.

Doesn’t shock me. Parents who would abuse their kids sending them into that don’t shock me either. Disgust every fiber of my being yes. Shock, no.
