Meryl Streep doesnt define herself by the F-word.
Im a humanist, I am for a nice easy balance, the Oscar winner told Time Out London when asked if she fancies herself a feminist.
But the 66-year-old, who plays British political activist Emmeline Pankhurst in the upcoming flick Suffragette, isnt holding back about sexism in Hollywood either.

Your just like all the other ‘hollow-wood’ idiots, playing parts and thinking it’s real life....what a disgrace to real women!!!
I’ve always liked Meryl. One of my favorite actresses of all time.
Can I call her what she is just once, please!!!
i know, i know. i can’t.
Men should look at the world as if something is wrong when their voices predominate. They should feel it, she said. People at agencies and studios, including the parent boards, might look around the table at the decision-making level and feel something is wrong if half their participants are not women. Because our tastes are different, what we value is different. Not better, different.
If you can keep the acting separate from the political statements, then you’re set.
As for me, i dont want to KNOW Al Pacino’s positions on anything, though I would guess they’re liberal.
I already know De Niro is. But I will still watch Goodfekllas, Analyze This, Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, etc...
But i will NOT watch ben affleck movies.
Humanist: marxists relabeling themselves because truth in packaging isnt their style.
Meryl Streep is a prime example of how incredibly talent in one’s career does not translate into political intelligence.
Trump-Streep...2016??
Streep also is a prime example of how acting talent is not hereditary, but that’s another discussion . . . .
I try to keep it all separate. The political droning in HollyWood means nothing to me. I could care less what they think, even though they feel everyone should care.
I can’t stand listening to Ellen, but I think she was hilarious in Finding Nemo haha.
Heat is one of my favs.
Actors and actresses excel at playing “make believe”, why would they want to hurt themselves by trying to analyze the real world? Hell I would take Narnia over America any day of the week!
The Tumblr SJWs and Twitter lynch mobs will be all over this.
cool movie right? the reviewers said too many sub plots, but i liked the sub plots.
the black guy trying to turn his life around.
The troubles between Val Kilmer and his wife.
Deniro meeting that gal.
Pacino and his wife and step daughter troubles.
Grango, or whatever his name was.
The bigshot banker.
Geez..there were a lot of sub plots lol!!
MY TAGLINE!
So does this mean Streep is bailing on Hillary?
Nobody gives a (blank) what you are, Meryl.
Streep could have learned playing Margaret Thatcher and studying her character and philosophy.
Good for Meryl Streep.
I told a female professor once that feminism is a problem. It played a part in ruining the family unit.
She hated me after that.
