Watching Max Scherzer pitch that no-hitter against the Mets Saturday night, you couldn't help remembering when Williams didn't realign his rotation to have Scherzer facing the Mets when it
might have meant something even bigger a couple of months earlier.
Word is, too, that Randy Knorr---whom he interviewed for the gig before handing it to Williams---might yet be on Rizzo's list of candidates to succeed Williams.

I’m a Rangers fan, so I don’t follow the NL teams much.
This seems to be a very good article by a knowledgeable person who provided a good analysis of the team’s failures.
