Congrats to the Mets. They started out with a lead in the first inning of game one and never looked back.

Back to the Future was right... this outcome is a result of the butterfly effect. They never should have told us.

Padres my homies, but my LL team was the Mets, and as a lefty 1st baseman, I played with an Ed Kranepool signature mitt. I’ll be pulling for the NL in the WS.

Murphy breaks the record for consecutive homeruns in post season play with 6.
The odd thing is he only had 14 homers all season. WTF?

Congrats to the Mets. Great starting pitching and we’ll sure miss Cespedes (quite possibly the greatest left-fielder we’d ever seen in the ball park) in Detroit.
HOORAY Mets
Great season Cubs.

I remember back in mid July, the Mets had lost a couple of games to Washington, they were about 5 games out of first, their record was around .500, they were a terrible hitting team...and their fans were trashing them and giving up on.
Now look at them...and their fans.
LOL.

Oh, somewhere in this favored land the sun is shining bright;
The band is playing somewhere, and somewhere hearts are light,
And somewhere men are laughing, and somewhere children shout;
But there is no joy in Mudville - mighty Casey has struck out.

Do they still play the blues in Chicago
When the baseball season comes around?
When the snow goes away
Do the Cubbies still play
In their ivy-covered burial ground?
Oh, when I was a boy
The Cubs were my joy
But not they only bring fatigue
In the land of the free
The home of the brave
And the doormat of the National League.
