First I have broken cinder blocks with my chucks ... so they can be pretty deadly. Second untrained users can hurt themselves fairly easily with them. Also those who are trained know that the sting tied ones are better than chain tied ... if only to save arm hair
I still have nerve damage to my left elbow from 30 years ago. Whacked my funny bone so hard that it has never recovered.
