I think that is probably what happened. Something like that, anyway. I advised her to just return the package. Tell them that it was refused and let Amazon try to refund the money. Amazon had the drone on sale for $400.00.

You need to have her contact amazon and their fraud department. let them know it was addressed to them, but they have no knowledge of the sender, and ask them to search their database for anyone else using their home, shipping, and email address.

I have heard of other people having this happen, and in one case, two other accounts had that person's home address on their list of shipping addresses.

it is a scam, and they may try sending minor things before a major purchase to setup purchase histories to an address, or as the other person noted, order big items on a fraudulant credit card and intercept the package at that address
