Vanity. Anybody make out what the guy yelled during the moment of silence before the packer game?

The first word was the granddaddy of them all, the second I couldn't make out.

There was a “moment of silence for the tragedy in Paris” last night at the Stanford - Pregon game. I muttered pretty loudly “It’s not a TRAGEDY — it is WAR!” Really pissed me off.

“Pregon”?? Stupid autocorrect. Should have been “Oregon”

Maybe **** islam?

I was thinking it was **** obama, then I realised we were both guessing essentially the same thing.

Damn, now you have put an image in my head that is absolutely revolting, and on a Sunday no less!

That was quick. It took a week to morph 9/11 from outrage to tragedy. Next would be yellow ribbons and yellow banners in the US. In France I don’t know, they’d have surrendered by now.

“It’s not a TRAGEDY — it is WAR!”

I could not agree with you more! I live 35 miles outside of Boston. After the brothers BOMBED and MURDERED and MAIMED at the Boston Marathon, we hear about the “Boston Marathon Tragedy”

A tragedy is an car accident, a tragedy is a hurricane, a tragedy is accidental roof collapse after heavy snow...
Acts of mass murder by Islamic fanatics are acts of WAR.
We all know it; it seems our so-called leaders and their media lackeys think by calling it by another word we won’t
notice.

Whenever I hear the word “tragedy” used to hide and gloss over acts of murder, I scream at the TV..
